Joel McHale will be in The X-Files season 10 playing Tad O’Malley.
McHale is known to Community fans for his portrayal of Jeff Winger and I wonder what Abed would make of Jeff on The X-Files.

Saw Steven Williams in Renegade 4.19 Hard Evidence.
At the time this episode was aired on February 12 1996, Williams was in the midst of playing Mr X in The X-Files who was part of the conspiracy to cover-up evidence of aliens. In contrast to his X-Files character, Williams in this Renegade episode played an Air Force officer who got discharged after witnessing an UFO and is now on a mission to get hard evidence of the UFO. This episode even taking into account Williams’ presence does not look out of place as an X-Files episode and not so much as a typical Renegade episode. Renegade is about bounty hunters and looking for evidence of aliens is not really within its purview.

Discovered new casting information about season 10 with Annabeth Gish returning as Monica Reyes, the return of the Lone Gunmen and Sheila Larken back as Scully's mother Margaret.
With the guest star discovered the casting of Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby, Kumail Nanjiani, Robbie Amell as Agent Miller and Lauren Ambrose as Agent Einstein.
For Lauren Ambrose she has become the latest person to appear in both The X-Files and Torchwood with the former being an influence on the latter. In Torchwood, Lauren Ambrose had been Jilly Kitzinger.
Season 10 will be shown on Australian TV on 10 sometime after its world premiere in the US on January 24 2016.

My Struggle: Season 10 opener. Not bad opener to this X-Files comeback. Not bad flashbacks to Roswell. So disappointed that Sveta succumbed to the other side of the conspiracy and a tragedy what became of her. Tad O'Malley sure got an abrupt cancellation to his programme.

Founder’s Mutation: Season 10, Episode 2. Guest stars Ryan Robbins and it is not that far off to when he was a regular in Sanctuary. Quite disturbing about the said mutation. Quite deadly those sounds are. Heart-warming and ultimately sad about Fox and Dana each having a fantasy of what would have been like to have raised William themselves.

Mulder and Scully Meet The Were-Monster:
Season 10, Episode 3.
This kind of episode made me think that it was similiar in style and structure to Love & Monsters, although no doubt many people even Doctor Who fans would argue that the X-Files episode is better than the aforementioned Doctor Who episode.
Also the said were-monster kind of looks like a Silurian.
Guy Mann is dressed up like Carl Kolchak and Kolchak: The Night Stalker was Chris Carter's inspiration for The X-Files.
Funny seeing Mulder dealing with modern technology with that of an app as his phone kept on taking pictures as he tried to have a handle on it.
This episode pays tribute to two contributors of The X-Files who have passed since the previous season ended in 2002 that of director Kim Manners and assistant director Jack Hardy as there names can be seen on gravestones.
Very funny episode.
