Michael Ansara has passed away.
Ansara appeared in Babylon 5 playing Elric in The Geometry of Shadows.
Outside of Babylon 5, Ansara is well known to Star Trek fans for playing the Klingon Kang. He first played Kang in the original series episode Day of the Dove (1968). He returned to play Kang, 26 years later in the Deep Space Nine episode Blood Oath.
Ansara played Kang one more time in the Voyager episode Flashback as he had appeared in Tuvok’s memory on his time on the Excelsior.
Ansara made another appearance in Deep Space Nine this time in the episode The Muse playing Jeyal, a husband of Lwaxana Troi.
Ansara was also in the Lost In Space episode The Challenge playing The Ruler.
