The Mark of Kane: The Mark of Kane was an audio cassette release originally released in 1996 and featured two interlinked stories one with Travis (Brian Croucher) and the other with Blake (Gareth Thomas).
Act One - War Crimes: The Travis story written by Alan Stevens and takes place between Voice from the Past & Gambit. Brian Croucher did extremely well with what he has been presented here. There is a significance of War Crimes taking place sometime before Gambit because in War Crimes it reveals how Travis found the location of Docholli, a character seen in Gambit. The most intriguing part of War Crimes was when Travis discussed with the mutoid of her former identity and it is quite remarkable who she turned out to be. War Crimes ends with a line from Travis, a line that is very consistent with Travis’ character.

Act Two – Friendly Fire: The Blake story written by Alan Stevens with David Tulley and takes place approximately eight months before the series finale Blake. An intriguing glimpse on what Blake was doing sometime before seeing him in the series finale. Loose ends have been tied up here including how Blake got the scar on his face. A good proper full adventure for Blake before what becomes of him in the series finale.
