With the setting at a forest and a creature taking out members of the Destiny crew, this is basically a riff on Predator.
The impact of the threat of the creature would have felt much greater from a viewing point of view if it weren’t for the personal dramas that occurred on Destiny.
Brody being accidentally frozen in a chamber had quite the comical effect.
This is perhaps the first time I have seen a BBQ on a spaceship!
