As a result of Rush's dream, Colonel Telford is suspected of being a spy for the Lucian Alliance and therefore responsible for the Lucian Alliance's earlier attack at a Stargate base in the opening story Air. Using the communications stones Rush switches bodies with Telford to infiltrate the Lucian Alliance but due to a unforeseen circumstance his cover is blown and held captive.
Playing the Lucian Alliance leader Kiva is Rhona Mitra. Rhona's past work included being a regular in the last season of The Practice & early episodes of its spin-off Boston Legal in which she played the girlfriend of the Alan Shore character played by original Daniel Jackson actor James Spader.
The other Daniel Jackson actor Michael Shanks is here in Subversion but does not appear together with Rhona although Daniel and Kiva were inches from each other as Daniel was in hiding observing Kiva.
Rhona plays Kiva very well.
Funny when Jack coming on-board Destiny and does so by being in a body of a Corporal. What a way to get demoted.
Pretty good cliffhanger with Col. Young threatening to suffocate Telford even though he was still in Rush's body.
