Things could easily have wrapped up here but unfortunately things are far from over because at the end the team went back to where they started.
Hence the title The Long Haul as they are in it for a pretty long haul.
The Long Haul is actually more fitting to Infinity's live-action relatives than to Infinity itself. Since Infinity's demise the live action franchise has continued to thrive which saw the end of SG-1, the beginning and end of Atlantis and now the recent beginning of Universe.
Personally I found Infinity better than expected. At least it was way more enjoyable than what has been shown so far of Universe.
