The title refers to Stacey getting a tatoo from an alien race.
When someone gets a tatoo it is very difficult to have it remove should this person regret having it later on. In The Illustrated Stacey it becomes an absolute necessity to have it remove as it is very hazardous to her health.
Quite enjoyable both the Stacey-tatoo storyline and the subplot of a very big creature that the rest of the team fights against.
