The crew are introduced by Janeway to the holodeck and they play the infamous Kobayashi Maru.
Not bad on them the ultimate lesson about the Kobayashi Maru that it is known for.
Surprising that during Kobayashi Maru they appear on the bridge of the Enterprise-D and more surprising with familiar faces turning up in Chakotay (now a captain), Odo, Scotty, Uhura, Spock and Beverly Crusher.
In the case of Odo, Scotty, Uhura and Spock whose actors have passed their voices are taken from their live-action appearances.
Incidentally this is the first episode of the series that I got to see on Netflix.
