Babylon 5: The Road Home:
Released in 2023, Babylon 5: The Road Home is an animated Babylon 5 movie written by creator J Michael Straczynski.
This had key players of Babylon 5 reprising their characters but not all key characters are voiced by their original actors as a number of them have passed.
Therefore new actors have stepped in to voice these principal characters in place of their late predecessors.
However Marcus Cole is voiced by Piotr Michael in place of the still alive Jason Carter.
A representative of Carter speaking as an admin of Carter's facebook group says that Carter had not been contacted to get involve in The Road Home with the news of this project coming out was the first that Carter had heard of it.
This is set sometime in season 5 of the live action series but before the events of the DVD movie The Lost Tales with President John Sheridan of the Interstellar Alliance and his wife Delenn leaving Babylon 5 to further develop the Interstellar Alliance as it was still in its infancy.
It was during the opening of an advanced power station which uses tahyons which causes Sheridan jumps through time.
Intriguing the places that Sheridan visits on his time jumps in particular Z'Ha'Dum.
Seeing Z'Ha'Dum reminded me just how creeped out I saw how this plotline developed on the live-action series which precipitated the Shadow War.
As I have not rewatched the B5 universe, The Road Home was a nice visit back into it even though knowing what would become Sheridan after the events of this film, a fact of which was brought up here by Stephen Franklin.
