Savarna is the penultimate episode of the first Big Finish Stargate season and the final SG-1 episode for this season.
Released in August 2008 and written by Sally Malcolm.
Starring Teryl Rothery as Dr Janet Frasier and this is set between the season 7 TV episodes Grace & Heroes.
Didn't realise until the accompanied interviews with Rothery she did this after Dr Frasier was killed off in the TV series.
Therefore she gets to step back in as Janet Frasier after her departure from the TV series.
Guest stars Toby Longworth as Lukas Biass.
After a mission, Janet went to get some sleep when the Prometheus got attacked.
The purpose of this attack is Janet herself as she gets kidnapped by Biass for the purpose of treating a seriously young boy.
Absolutely enthralling what went on with this situation and difficult decision that Janet made at the end resulting in the consequence of that decision.
It is foreshadow when she said that she does not regret the things she has done but regrets the things she hasn't done.
Excellent thanks mainly to Rothery's narration of this story as Janet.
I haven't seen the TV series since I finished with it but I am mostly certain that Rothery never had an episode like Savarna in which she is focus of it.
Savarna is certainly an excellent rectification of it.
Also Savarna is the name of Biass' ship but certainly interesting when it was revealed where he got the name from.
The said accompanied interview includes pointed out that Rothery played Dr Frasier here after she was killed in the TV series, as stated before.
Rothery also mentioned her then current work which was for the TV shows Kyle XY & The Guard.
Of these two shows I definitely saw her in Kyle XY but like SG-1 the TV series I had finished with it and moved on from it.
