W. Morgan Sheppard has passed away.
Born on August 24 1932, William Morgan Sheppard appeared Babylon 5 in Soul Hunter playing the episode title character and in The Long, Twilight Struggle playing Warleader G'Sten.
As well as Babylon 5, Sheppard was also in the Doctor Who and Star Trek universes.
For Doctor Who he was in The Impossible Astronaut playing Old Canton Delaware III. His son Mark played the younger Canton in the rest of that episode and in the next episode Day of the Moon. Doctor Who dealt with time travel and Morgan Sheppard was in two other time travel narratives in the first episode of short-lived Timecop series, A Rip In Time and the animated movie Free Birds (2013).
For Star Trek he was in the TNG episode The Schizoid Man playing Dr. Ira Graves, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country playing Klingon Commander, the Voyager episode Bliss playing Qatai and Star Trek (2009) playing Vulcan Science Minister.
He had also been in The Sweeney in the second episode Jackpot playing Chief Insp. Morrison.
Other work included The New Avengers, The Legend of King Arthur, The Professionals, Shogun The Elephant Man, The Day of the Triffids, The Zany Adventures of Robin Hood, Max Headroom Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, MacGyver, Quantum Leap, Iron Man, American Gothic, Pocahontas 2: Journey to a New World, Days of Our Lives, Charmed, Atlantis: Milo's Return, Alias, Transformers, Legend of the Seeker, Dexter, Young Justice, Free Birds & The Librarians.
He died on January 6 2019 at the age of 86.
