While Stargate Universe is currently being shown on Sci Fi, it looks like it will be making its free to air debut on 10 as it was included in its summer ad. Universe on 10 is in contrast to the fact that SG-1 and Atlantis has been on 7 with the latter currently being shown on 7TWO.

How dark and confusing was this episode? I think it really was only for the Stargate fans who knew the the SG world inside out.
Perhaps having it so..... 'mysterious' , might engourage newcomers to delve into the SG world, but I doubt it. Had I been new to this, I might easily have switched off and never bothered with it again.
I hope we get a gouple of alien characters soon because the rest of the cast just aren't going to carry it.
Yes, I know they've been given another season, which makes me hope like mad that the show has improved from it's, to me, rather dismal beginning.
I will hang in there, because I love SG.

TV Tonight reports that SGU's permanent time will be Mondays 8:30pm from December 21.
