Edward Woodward has passed away:

Born on June 1 1930, Woodward had been well known for his lead roles in the TV series Callan & The Equalizer & the movie The Wicker Man.
His other roles have included in Eastenders and in an episode of the Babylon 5 spin-off Crusade, The Long Road playing Alwyn. In Crusade he had played alongside his son Peter who had played the regular role of Galen.
Edward Woodward was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003 and he died on November 16 2009 after an illness at the age of 79.
