The title seems to be about expressing hope for life as we see the previously thought dead Ginn and Amanda all of a sudden appearing in Chloe’s body via use of the communications stones as well as Volker undergoing vital surgery. Quite moving when Volker and Greer, who had volunteered to help save Volker after being found to be an compatible match to him for the surgery, had some time alone together as they are about to undergo a surgery that is life threatening to both of them. Amusing that the 2001 theme was played prior to the start of surgery. Whilst the solution for Ginn maybe temporary it is at least hope that she can survive. Telford appears at the end to inform Young that the bomb from the previous episode Alliances has been defused. The fact that we only learn the outcome of the bomb at the end perhaps shows that persistence of hope can pay off at the end. Ironically hope is something Stargate Universe does not have with now just six episodes to the end.
