Lynda Bellingham has passed away.
Born Meredith Lee Hughes on May 31 1948, Lynda Bellingham appeared in the Blake’s 7 episode Headhunter playing Vena.
Lynda Bellingham was one actor who appeared in both Doctor Who and Blake’s 7.
She appeared in Doctor Who years later in 1986 in what would turn out to be the Sixth Doctor Colin Baker’s television swansong The Trial of a Time Lord in which she played the Inquisitor who oversaw the said trial.

It had been known for a while that Lynda Bellingham had terminal cancer and she had hoped to have one last Christmas but she passed away suddenly on October 19 2014 at the age 66.
