A couple of night's ago on ABC1 saw Agatha Christie's Poirot: Lord Edgware Dies. It featured Fenella Woolgar in a few scenes. Lord Edgware Dies was originally shown in 2000.
Remarkably in 2008 Fenella Woolgar got to play Agatha Christie herself in Doctor Who: The Unicorn and the Wasp. Since she had very little to do in Lord Edgware Dies it probably means that her casting in Doctor Who as Agatha Christie was merely a coincidence. What cannot be a coincidence is that since she played Agatha Christie in Doctor Who, she appeared in Poirot again in this year's Hallowe'en Party.
Also in Lord Edgware Dies was Dominic Guard and Christopher Guard.
The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes: The Mazarin Stone, the penultimate episode of the series was adapted by Gary Hopkins. It featured Denis Lill.

The Man In a Suitcase episode Sweet Sue featured an appearance from two people who would later become regulars of a Terry Nation created series before becoming a guest star in Doctor Who. They were Jacqueline Pearce (Blake's 7, The Two Doctors) and Ian McCulloch (the original series of Survivors, Warriors of the Deep).
In this Man In a Suitcase episode Jacqueline Pearce's character is called Miss Brown and The Two Doctors also had a Miss Brown, that of Peri Brown played by Nicola Bryant. Since Brown is a common name, this of course is a coincidence but according to IMDb, the Man in a Suitcase episode is the only time that Ms Pearce has ever played a character with the Brown name.
